Executive Summary
As COO of Clean It Crew, I led the transformation of a founder-operated services business into a scalable, systems-driven organization serving enterprise clients nationwide. By rebuilding operations around documented processes, developed leadership, and data-driven dispatch, we grew capacity to 14,000+ annual service calls while improving reliability and margin.
Business Challenge
The business had strong demand and a good reputation, but growth was capped by its dependence on a handful of key people. Scheduling, quality control, and client communication all routed through the owner. Every new account added strain rather than leverage, and inconsistent execution across sites threatened the enterprise relationships that mattered most.
My Role
I own end-to-end operations and full P&L accountability — including service delivery, workforce, vendor and subcontractor management, safety and compliance, client success for national accounts, and the operating systems that hold it all together.
Strategy
- Standardize service delivery with documented SOPs so quality no longer depended on who showed up.
- Build a dispatch and scheduling system capable of coordinating thousands of calls across multiple markets.
- Develop a layer of site and regional leaders empowered to own outcomes and resolve issues locally.
- Instrument the business with metrics on completion, response time, and client satisfaction to catch problems early.
- Deepen enterprise partnerships by delivering the consistency and reporting national clients require.

Lessons Learned
- Demand is not the constraint — the operating system is. Removing single points of failure unlocked growth that no amount of extra effort could.
- Enterprise clients buy reliability. Consistent, measurable delivery wins and retains national accounts more than any pitch.
- The organization only scales as fast as its leaders. Developing local ownership was the highest-leverage investment we made.
